CUSTOMERS “INVEST IN THE BEST” AT EXHIBITIONS IN 2018

Whilst official indications are that the number of trade visitors to the biennial MACH 2018 exhibition was up by 5% compared to 2016, Walther Trowal significantly received 50% more enquiries than at MACH 2016. Additionally, two important and noteworthy equipment orders were secured at the exhibition this year.

Tristan White, Managing Director of Arc Angels Advanced Composites, conłrmed an order for a 200 litre machine with Matt Stacey, Southern Area Sales Manager, during the show. Matt has been working on a project with Tristan and his colleagues since November last year whereby process trials conducted upon sample components have proved that the processes proposed by Walther Trowal are signiłcantly more efłcient to those produced by competitive companies and result in superior łnishes.

Arc Angels, based in Honiton, Devon and founded in 2003 specialise in łbreglass and carbon łbre advanced composites, implementing the latest composite technologies and aerodynamic design to achieve maximum performance from the components produced for their customers.

Visitors to the exhibition were able to see standard circular and trough type machines, a vibratory maizorb drier and a centrifugal machine in operation and view a centrifuge efŃuent treatment system for cleaning and re-cycling water and compound used during processing and a łxtured MV series machine for wheel polishing etc.

The company has been providing de-burring and łnishing equipment and process consumables since 1931 and has two sites in the UK. The Birmingham site has a process trial and equipment demonstration facility, engineering and technical department and sales ofłce. The production facility in Stoke on Trent produces ceramic processing media for the UK and export and has a new dedicated 9,000 ft² warehouse and distribution centre completed in July 2017.

Darren Rimmer, National Sales Manager, also secured an order for a 600 litre machine from Bronson’s Limited at the MACH 2018 show. The company are part of the Norcrest Group and based in Wolverhampton provide shot blasting and vibratory łnishing sub-contract services. Stratford Precision Engineering Services, based in Redditch, are also part of the group and specialize in premium precision pressings and assemblies. Managing Director, Simon Jennings and General Manager Jayson Alley conłrm that they have been using products and equipment manufactured by Walther Trowal for many years and have found the equipment design, quality and longevity second to none, so when the requirement for an additional machine arose the decision to “Invest in the Best” was made.

The MACH 2018 exhibition further enabled the company to conłrm and promote its wide range of proven capabilities providing process solutions and services directly from the OEM.

Also, in addition to the well established range of barrel, vibratory, centrifugal, drag and łxtured machine systems, Walther Trowal have successfully pioneered and produce continuous shot blasting equipment, small parts coating machines and environmentally efłcient efŃuent treatment systems.
